Types of Love Letters

Types of love letters

There are many ways people express their love through literature; for example, in poems, in plays and in music.

Poems are probably the most traditionally used of the three. Many people can write a decent poem. There is a very basic way of writing poems that most people use, which is basically writing down words that rhyme every other stanza. There are many traditional ways that are much harder to write such as haiku, sonnets, epic poems, and tankas. The chapter of Psalms in the Bible are very beautiful love poems from David to God. An example of this is the following:
"Everyday I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And his greatness is unsearchable. "
Another way of writing love poems is used in this poem my friend wrote:

The rain falls
In acid drops
Death comes heartbeat stops
Blurred vision
Twisted view
One thing clear
I love you

Thoughts float around
In my head
Think of you
As I lie in bed
Pleasureable emotion
Something new
One thing clear
I love you

Blood throbs
Through my veins
Behind my eyes
And in my brain
Perception changes
Mind's a zoo
One thing clear
I love you

Another way of expressing your love is through plays, if you have the ability to do that. Many plays are about love. The most classic is William Shakespeare' s tragedy, "Romeo and Juliet." In this play, William Shakespeare uses many lyrical phrases, many of which are now very famous. A well-known romance play is "The Importance of being Earnest" by Oscar Wilde. This play is a classic romantic comedy that is said to be a trivial play for serious people. Musical Theater has many love songs in it because again the most written about subject is love. "Carousel" by Richard Rogers is one of many musicals written about love. Plays are probably the least used way of expressing your love through literature, but the most interesting for the others to hear.

Very often people write songs about people they love. Love is the most written about of all things in songs. Every style of music has love songs whether it's punk, SKA, rock and roll, classical, big band, blues, or pop that you listen to. One of the oldest songs written is "Song of Solomon" from the Bible: "O my love you are as beautiful as Tirzah, Lovely as Jeruselum, Awesome as an army with banners! Turn your eyes away from me, for they have overcome me. Your hair is like a flock of goats coming down from Gilead." This is written to tell the love of a bridegroom (King Solomon) and his bride, to affirm the sanctity of marriage and to picture God's love for His people. Musical theater has many love songs in it because again the most written about subject is love. "Carousel" by Richard Rogers is one of many musicals written about love.

Love is the most written about, sung about, and talked about of all emotions. It is used to make people buy things in commercials; it's is very often the subject of movies and TV shows. Love is exciting, emotional, tragic, funny, and most of all loved.

He flys over and sprinkles
his transparent sparkling dust
it hits you, it makes you smile
and remember, remember the times,
you danced in the rain, sang out loud,
wriggled your toes thru the sand.
it makes you think about the things
you love, the things you cherish.
you watch as a pudgy pink
worm struggles to climb over a crisp
brown leaf.
a smile cracks your strong hard
face- what a joy to know you can
accomplish anything you put your
mind to.
I love you.
